The pub was quiet when we got inside,4 of us ordered 4 main meals which were brought to the table in a very short time,the meals were piping hot,all four meals were superb,as were the desserts,give it a try ,you will not be disappointed.

What a great find this pub was! I visited with my parents on Bank Holiday Monday 30/8/2010 and we had a fantastic meal (top quality cuisine at reasonable prices), and a decent pint too (the Bowland Hen Harrier ale was on cracking form, and there were other real ales on offer too).
Not only that, but the service was pleasant and efficient, the atmosphere relaxing and convivial, and the decor looked cared for. You will probably need transport to get there (it isn't far off the main A59 road to Clitheroe, take a right near the Swallow Hotel if coming from the motorway) but the car park is spacious and easy to find.
Highly recommended that you try this place, you won't be disappointed. -

Fantastic. The New Hall opened again in June and with the 'all time' favourite management team back as the licensees. Rob and Stella have spent a fortune refurnishing the place in modern no smoking colours and equipment. Stella lived near to the new hall and worked there pot washing when she was only fourteen, she as been there on and off for the last eighteen years. Rob is one of the North of England's leading Chefs and he as been a Head Chef for the last eighteen years. So you can be sure of a good meal and being well looked after in their family restaurant with a pub drink! Welcome home.
